I don’t know anything about the toshiba e585, so I can’t help you there. But I do know that it’s a good camera with plenty of features. You can save photos to your laptop using the software and have the files be automatically converted to a.avi file, which is the most common media format. The software also makes it easy to trim images and edit them on the fly. You can even share them with others or print them out.
What I found out is that the toshiba e585 has a decent enough battery life for a relatively simple camera. The battery life is a good deal, since you can use it for a couple of hours a day.
