This is a pretty common thing to think about. And I think that when we feel disconnected from our bodies and from our selves, we feel disconnected from the world around us. Our body is the only thing that can connect us to the world around us. But if that connection is severed, the world around us feels disconnected from us.

I think that the world around us feels disconnected from us because our bodies are somehow disconnected from each other.
