There is no one right way to incorporate reviews into your marketing. You may want to use reviews to gauge the level of customer satisfaction but that’s just me. I would say that you should use reviews to give your customers a good idea of the products they should be buying. If a product is getting a bad review, you want to do everything you can to ensure that you are sending a good signal to the customer – whether they are a new customer or a recurring customer.

While we all want a good signal that a product is good, it’s also important to remember that reviews are simply a reflection of how a product is used. This is a great idea, but it’s not exactly an easy way to get reviews. You have to give the customer something for free and then have that something turn into reviews. I know it seems like a great idea, but people are hesitant to give away something for free.

The good news is that Amazon is actually doing this right now. You can now give your customers a free Amazon gift card if you’ve also listed it on your site. Once they link to Amazon and see it, they can then give you a review. The problem is that many customers will click the Amazon link and then give it to a friend or family member.
